One of the most popular fruit on the planet is the banana. They are not only tasty to eat but also rich in minerals and vitamins. Besides, there are different type of bananas like Manzano banana, Red Banana, Baby Banana, Burro Banana, Plantain banana and Cavendish Banana. Among these types, the most widely grown banana cultivars is the Cavendish banana. Especially, it is cultivated mostly in Africa, Latin and South East Asia.

In Vietnam, banana is a fruit has high area and yield. In general, the area accounts for 19% of the total area of fruit trees in Vietnam. However, banana cultivation area is not concentrated. Banana production areas concentrate mainly in Southern and Northern in Vietnam. Moreover, there are provinces with big production areas such as: Gia Lai, Long An, Lam Dong, etc. In 2018, banana plantation area reached 140,000 ha and production reached about 2.1 million tons. In addition to domestic consumption, the export of bananas also earns several million USD annually.

In Vietnam, Cavendish banana also is the most popular type of banana, together with Laba King banana. There are also some differences between these 2 types of banana as below:

Generally, Dong Xuan Agrimex Co., Ltd owns banana farms and plantations which is located mainly in Gia Lai, Lam Dong and Long An provinces. In total, our areas are more than 400ha . Besides, we hire more 60 employees. Also, we own 4 washing pools and pulley systems in our banana processing factory.

Regarding to specifications, general information of Vietnam banana as below:

√ Diameter: 3 – 4cm

√ Size: 4,5,6,7,8,9

Currently, Dong Xuan Agrimex Co., Ltd are exporting banana to foreign countries, mainly to Japan and Korea. Our supply ability is around 160 – 200 MT per month. Furthermore, our products meet strict requirements and banana export standard of these 2 markets. In particular, our export banana is immature and green, size and weight of each piece is the similar to others, no rotten parts and pesticide, no black speckle/bruise, no dust/sap on banana skin, etc.

Regarding to packing, we normally pack banana in net 13kgs or 18kgs box. Moreover, we can handle bulk standard or CP standard. It is totally up to customer’s requests.

√ Delivery time: 03 – 05 days after receiving deposit or the original L/C

√ Supplying period: all around the year (mainly from March to middle of May and from October to December)
