FRESH LIME
With the scientific name of Citrus Latifolia, fresh lime is a tall plant up to 6m high, has no thorns and is mainly grown for fruit. It has a green thin shell, sour, watery but less fragrant.
About the morphological characteristics, leaves of fresh lime are dark green like lemon with small white flowers. This kind of plant can grow promptly on many types of land, especially on crumbly soils and many humus. Fresh lime bears fruit all year round, so it is also known as Tu Quy Lime.

The seedless lime is bigger than normal lemon, it is about 6cm in diameter, less fragrant and has no bitter taste like Vietnamese lemon. Seedless lime is often used to mix water or cooking ingredients.
In Vietnam, fresh lime growing area is in Long An province with the planning time and harvesting all year round. This plant has strong resistance, easy to grow and are hardly sick so often high yield. The capacity can reach more than 5,000MTs/month.
