FRESH CABBAGE

Cabbage is a green vegetable of the Crass family, scientific name is Brassica oleracea L. It has thick layers of leaves that roll closely. The outer leaves of fresh cabbage are dark green and the inner are white.

According to nutrition experts, every 100g of fresh cabbage contains 5.6g of carbohydrate, 3.6g of sugar, 2.3g of fiber, 1.4g of protein, 32mg of vitamin C, etc. In winter, fresh cabbage is very popular vegetable. In addition to making dishes, it is also used to make drug in Oriental medicine.

Fresh cabbage is the main crop in the winter-spring harvest in the northern provinces of Vietnam. Namely, Hai Duong and Hung Yen are the two provinces that provide the largest volume of cabbage. Moreover, Hai Phong and Lam Dong contribute an increasing amount by years.
