FRESH CARROT

In Vietnam, carrot is mainly harvested in Northern because of its cold and dry winter climate, this is the most suitable environment for the growth of carrots. Generally, the two largest delta carrot supply areas are Bac Ninh and Hai Duong province. In addition, in mountainous areas such as Ha Giang, Lam Dong, Lai Chau, etc., carrots are also cultivated throughout the year due to the influence of elevation.

Fresh carrot

Depending on the nutritional status and climate, the size of carrot is diversified in each region. In general, there are 5 main types of fresh carrot, as follows:

√ S size: 80-150g/pc

√ M size: 150-200g/pc

√ L size: 200-250g/pc

√ 2L size: 250-320g/pc

√ 3L size: 320g & up/pc


Fresh carrot: 2L Size

According to the latest report of Vietnam General Statistics Office, the annual carrot production in Vietnam is 40,000 tons / year, equivalent to over 3,000 tons / month. Vietnamese carrot is not only consumed in domestic market but also exported to foreign countries such as Japan, Korea, Singapore, etc.

Fresh carrot: 3L Size

In addition, carrots are high in nutritional value. Fresh carrot contains 81% water, 3% protein, 4.2% minerals, 0.7% lipids, etc. In addition to root crops, carrot growers use leaves for animal feed.

Currently, our carrot is only available for export from February to June every year because fresh carrot reaches the highest quality during that time. Good quality and freshness of product are our priority to meet strict requirements of customers.
