Van Duc Cooperative: Management of safe vegetable production in groups

The largest safe vegetable area in Van Duc commune, Gia Lam district, Hanoi, Vietnam. In general, this area spreads out over 250 hectares. Along with fresh air and fertile alluvial soil, these factors make this area suitable for growing fresh vegetables.

On average, the Van Duc Agricultural Cooperative provides 100 tons of safe vegetable per day. They provide to the domestic market with many different types. In addition, each group of Cooperative has some leaders. They are responsible for supervising, managing and applying  standards across the entire vegetable area.

Moreover, there is no pesticide and growth stimulant in fresh vegetable. Thus, it helps farmers to sell their products at higher prices. Thanks to the compliance with our production process, vegetables and fruits of Van Duc have appeared in many supermarkets. At this time, all products of Van Duc Agricultural Cooperative have a very clear origin.

According to VietGap standards, farmers must have their own diaries. Then, farmers write all activities of production into diaries daily. Besides, farmers or groups will be criticized on loudspeaker system of commune if there is any violation.

Now, in annual, they supply 30,000 tons of vegetables with 30 types and earning over USD 400 million / hectare / year.
